PARASITIC EXTIRPATION – announce their new lineup.

After over a year of searching, auditions & headaches, Massachusetts tech deathgrind outfit PARASITIC EXTIRPATION are proud to announce their new lineup. On vocals is Mallika Sundaramurthy (Abnormality), taking the drum throne is Jim Fitzpatrick (Boarcorpse) & on the bass guitar is Damon Psarris (Boarcorpse). Rounding out things are founding guitarists Peter ‘Blue’ Spinazola & Chris Kessaris.

With these new additions to the fold, they bid farewell to Tim Murphy, Alex Carrara & Drew Copeland-Will. They were a big part of the first 4 years of PE and are thanked for their time & effort.

Currently, the group is honing their brand of surgically precise technicality in preparation for a return to the live circuit towards the end of the year/early 2012. Also being crafted are new slabs of blasting insanity for a follow-up release to 2010’s full length ‘Casketless.’ The band promises to deliver their most focused, tight & brutal material to date.

ANTROPOFAGUS – announce cover-art and tracklist for new album.

Antropofagus proudly announce the cover-art and tracklist of their next full-length “Architecture of Lust“. The entire work was performed by “Moderna Studio” (Warsaw, PL), known for the artwork of last Hate’s album “Erebos” Lyrics and concept are mainly inspired by the works of Clive Barker and Benjamin Christensen.

CANCEROUS WOMB – Death Metal from UK

Cancerous Womb were formed in Edinburgh during the latter stages of 2008 by Guitarist Mike & Vocalist Chris. Since then we’ve been writing and ‘perfecting’ our current setlist whilst gigging/touring modestly and finalizing our lineup. Recruiting Cook on Drums shortly after forming, and a few years later adding Ryan on Rhythm Guitar and Joe on Bass in Autumn 2011.

We aim to achieve more and more momentum as time goes on – The bestial sound of CW is shaping nicely and so grows our passion to perform sickeningly enjoyable shows, as well as write disgusting ‘music’.

So far we’ve been allowed to support and share the stage with some fantastic bands, complete a handful of UK tours, as well as tour in Ireland & Denmark. We released our debut 3 track ‘Austrian Basement’ EP in December 2009, which is available to download for free.

We have 2 new Studio tracks which are included in ‘Split Roast’; A 5-Way UK Extreme Metal Split with 4 other excellent bands – Released May 23rd 2011 on Condate Records.

NAPALM DEATH – New album release date, title and cover art!

NAPALM DEATH – Leaders of the extreme, genre founders and one of the hardest working/touring bands out there, legendary NAPALM DEATH, are currently giving the final touch to their 14th studio album (excluding the cover album “Leaders Not Followers). The new piece of brutality is named “Utilitarian” and hits stores on February 27th (USA February 28th) 2012, via the bands long time partner Century Media Records. The cover artwork perfectly fits the album theme and was done by the Danish artist Frode Sylthe, who also signed responsible for The Haunted`s amazing “Revolver” artwork.

Singer Mark “Barney” Greenway explains about the album title and concept: “After some deliberation, we have decided on “Utilitarian” as the album title. We generally try to avoid generic titles, and this seemed to have a lot of scope to it. I won’t explain the full meaning of Utilitarianism here because it’s an ethical theory, and as ethical theories go, the depth and debate around it is quite heavy at times. It has a certain ‘morality’ aspect to it and that isn’t something that drives me, so I also certainly have issues with it. So, rather than just nail that straight to the mast, of course we wanted to put our own spin on it by suggesting that those (i.e. the utilitarian in us, perhaps) who try to challenge everything, or fight against conventions, well, we go through periods of real self-doubt where we wonder if we’re really making a difference. I suppose the conclusion is that, for the sake of all our freedoms, you should never stop, as even the feeling of resistance is at least a signal to those who would like to entirely control and dominate us – meaning everything from our instinctive behavior to our human entitlement to walk the earth unprovoked. Regarding the album overall, the final creases should be ironed out fairly soon, and immediately after that we thought it would be good to top it off with a few UK dates. We’ve been playing one new song (“Quarantined”) out on a tour of Canada and it’s been well received, so we hope to perhaps throw in another one for now. Either way, we’ll be bouncing off the walls again near you very soon. Cheers all.”

Willowtip Records Signs DESECRAVITY.

Tokyo, Japan’s DESECRAVITY has officially signed with Willowtip Records. The labelwill release the band’s debut album, titled Implicit Obedience, on January 24, 2012. The album was mixed and mastered at Mana Recording Studios by Erik Rutan (of Hate Eternal).
